Gemma has taught us the meaning of true love and adoration, and she continues to be an inspiration to all those who become involved in her life.

My name is Clare Lea, my husband is called Nick, and we live in Culcheth, Warrington, Cheshire. Gemma is our only child. She was born on 5 December 1998 and was diagnosed with Sandhoff Disease at ten months of age. The reason for this Web Page is firstly to share our precious Gem with others and secondly to get in touch with other families who have been, or are currently being affected by Sandhoff Disease.

Lastly, the page should also be a ‘Thankyou’ to all our friends who have been, and continue to be our strength during the difficult times.
