16TH JULY: CHERRY FALLS

My parents were over this Tuesday and half of Wednesday (because Pothead ‘needed’ the car back early) and it was like gift time. They bought over Missy’s bed (which Quebert bought her a few months before he died), her table and chairs and my jewellery box which my father made, along with the plant I bough around 6 months ago, or even longer. We also got pizza a broom and mop head and my mother vacuumed the entire carpeted section of the house! Woo-hoo!
Other than that not much has been happening. I should have gotten the nasties about a week ago and I am suffering all the symptoms but nothing is coming. I guess that I shouldn’t complain. I went to the gym this morning for a new program and have to return again at 1100hr on Monday. I really have nothing to say. I watched a movie the other night- Cherry Falls with Jay Mohr and Brittany Murphy. Could it be any more archetypal? So okay, it is the poor virgins that are copping it in this shocking horror, and I mean shocking as in bad. The real question is, how did they figure out the ‘link’ between the victims after only three of them- one being male? 3 virgins could equal coincidence! As for the whole murderer thing, c’mon, Psycho has been done already! Duh. As for the ending, well all I can say is ‘why?’ As in, why did she not say anything? That shouldn’t give too much away.
As for tomorrow, I am freaking out in advance! I am going to prepare for a day of sitting around the house doing nothing- because I will not go any further than the store down the road, but painting my toe nails pink. Why, because that is what I feel like doing. As for those of you who are going to see Terminator 3, I despise you. Oh well, I will see it in the next few weeks and T2 is on this Friday to help with the yearn for some action. Mind you, I am a thriller/horror person as opposed to action. But there are some that I like and Terminator is just one of them.
I am sometimes a drama person as well, but that just depends really. I like comedy late at night after watching a really good creepy show- and preferably mind numbing comedy like Loser which just melts your brain away. Thriller, horror and sci-fi are where my heart lays. Cheers.
