| Lady Liberty Lady Liberty stands Where the land meets the sea, A vigilant symbol For the land of the free. She's a woman of honor Silhouetting the sky, As she stands in the harbor And she holds her torch high. The ships all around her Are forming their ranks, And her young men and women Are boarding their planks. With backpacks and helmets, Carrying guns and the rest. Her children are armed To give their very best. The dark clouds of war Bring tears to her eye. Still she stands in the harbor And she holds her torch high. She remembers times past... | Heavenly Father, we come before you to lift up our nation to you. You are the source of our strength. You Father, guided our forefathers in the building of this nation and throughout the years have kept your hand upon her. We pray Heavenly father for our President. Give to him and and all who serve as our leaders wisdom, as they make the choices for our nation. Father you made us a united nation, under your sovereign guidance and you have taught us that there is strength in unity. Give us the strength to once again stand united "One Nation Under GOD", for it is you who has blessed this nation. Forgive us Father for our sins, as individuals, and as a nation, for we cannot make it without you. Father we ask that you keep your hand upon our men and women that are fighting for freedom. Freedom not only for our nation but for the freedom of others, who have been oppressed for so long. We ask that you give them strength, courage and protection. We ask that you go before them and make a way even where there seems to be no way, and bring them back to us victorious. Father for those who are missing or held captive, we ask you to give them favor with their captors and deliver them. We ask you to be with the families that wait and watch for their return. Comfort and give peace to each one as only you can. We ask you to bless this nation and it's people with true peace and unity that only you can give. In Jesus name we pray Amen |
