MUSIC NEWS
Release and other info will be here for different bands, as well as some reviews. This section is small right now, but I'm working on it.

I figured, what is a music page without the "drugs" in the the "Sex, Drugs, and Rock&Roll"?
PICK AND REVIEW
SIXTY WATT SHAMAN "Seed Of Decades"
This album was rated a 10 out of 10 by PIG
What can you say about Sixty Watt Shaman besides......."fuckin A". I swear this album will rock you so hard that your nut hair will shake. This is the Watts second album and features first and foremost, MUCH better production than the debut "Ultra Electric" did. Ultra Electic was a great record, but severly hindered by it's poor production. Seed Of Decades was produced by J.P. of Clutch and Sixty Watt Shaman themselves, and is on the Spitfire lable. The new album features 1 song with J.P. on drums, 1 song with Neil(Clutch) on vocals, and 3 re-worked versions of songs found on Ultra Electric. If you love grooved out blues rock, this is a must for you. Check my "New/Low Key Bands" page for more info and links.
POINTS OF INTEREST IN THE MUSIC WORLD
-
Word around the campfire is that you can expect new Sixty Watt Shaman, "Seed Of A Decades", to be released on Spitfire Records in September 2000.
- The Workhorse Movement has finally dropped the first full length album since "Dopeamine". The record is called "Sons Of The Pioneers", and kicks much ass. The only thing wrong with it is that it has all of the songs from the "Rythm And Soul Cartel" E.P. on it.....although they are all different versions.
- "Chamber Music", the Coal Chamber follow up, is here. If you liked the self titled, you should like this on too. It's a little more gind-core than the first, but in this case that is not a bad thing. Also, the album has a remake of "Shock The Monkey" with Ozzy.
- QOTSA has released "R"......finally. The album is much more retro 60's type shit than some may like, but that's right up my alley. Check out Wellwater Conspiracy if you like that stuff. They also have a new song on the Heavy Metal 2000 soundtrack.
- Esham, ICP, Half Breed, Mastamind, Project Born, Bedlam and Twiztid are all supposed to release new albums on Halloween 2000.
-
-
- For you Korn fans out there, the Ice Cube disc "War & Peace", contains a song with the band.
- The "Strangeland SNDTRK" includes Manson and Kid Rock as well as new songs from Coal Chamber and Sevendust.
- Apocalyptica is a group that features 4 guys with chellos covering Metallica, Pantera, and Sepultura songs. Pretty cool stuff.
- The "Bride Of Chucky SDTRK". Features brand new songs by Coal Chamber and Slayer.
