A Mother's Love
I have waited my whole life, my son,
To love someone like you,
A love that is so pure, my son,
A love that is so true.
Unconditionally, my son,
I give you all I have to give,
I would let them take away my life, my son,
Just so you could live.
You are more precious then gold, my son,
Worth more then the blue in the skies,
I would give you the world, my son,
And without you, I would die.
You are my meaning, my son,
You are my reason to be,
I will be happy forever, my son,
As long as you are here with me.
The day I gave you breath of life, my son,
Was the day our lives were tied,
No matter what you choose, my son,
I will stand right by your side.
Because forever, my son,
You are my life.
This was written by me for one of my sons.  I have 2.  I wrote them each their own poem, but I lost one and this one has no date so I don't know who its for.
