Welcome to my art page. Art is something I have strayed from since I was 16. My dream was to go to art school and be an artist my entire life. Then I gave it up due to an abusive boyfriend who made me think I was a horrible artist and person. I made this site when I rediscovered my ability after I left my husband almost 2 years ago. Now I am happy to say that I have progressed beyond my expectations and now I consider myself an artist. I am not the best artist on earth, but I am satisfied with myself, and in these few years-thanks to art books and an art class-I can now do things I never thought I could do. My advice to anyone in this world wanting to be an artist, musician, writer, or anything-DON'T GIVE UP! I wanted to give up many, many, many times. People criticized my work and made me feel discouraged, but I pushed thru that. Now most people are amazed at what I can do. (I am not conceited in any way shape or form, I am just proud of myself!). |
