| My S/V "Restless Rosie", was named after a Chocolate Lab named Rosie! The restless part sums up "Me". I have lived in 12 different states and have hitched hiked across the united states twice "When it use to be relatively safe to do this", I rode a motorcyle up to Alaska twice! I built a log cabin in Alaska by cutting dn and hand pealing over 300 logs, and building the cabin in octaginal shape on 10 ft centers so as to do most of the construction the traditional way! "By Hand" I lived in a slide in camper in the back of a 1978 ford p/up for 3 years while building my cabin.I then Moved to Saudi Arabia and worked in hospitals for 4 years.I then traveled to the Philippines where I owned and operated a fish farm for several years. Here are a few of the job's I have had ; Business Owner; Cattle Rancher; Dairy farm operator; Pig Farmer;Fire Fighter(USFS); Ski Instructer;Cabinate Maker; Hippie(1970's);Commodities futures Salesman; Fish farm operator; My next adventure is to sail my boat to the Philippines! Thus the reason for this site so my friends will know if I have safely arrived! I Married the love of my life in 2005 . She is a beautiful Filipina lady "Teresita" and she is determined to gently soften some of my edges! I also have 5 children . Three boys and two girls! Hopefully they will enjoy sailing as much as I do. |
