Nice homepage! I can also trace myself back to George Hubbard Jr., but didnt have anything further back than that. There are still quite a few Hubbards left in Middletown, CT (near Haddam). I also saw some Shaylers in your tree. You probably know this already, but there is still a section in Haddam known as Shailerville, and a cemetery populated by quite a few Shailers, most no doubt somehow related to you (but alas not to me).

Geoff, Looks good! If we add the rest of the tree are you ready for 1100 names? Thomson side still ends at William. There are no firm leads to Ireland. James actually changes his birth place in a number of his kid's birth certificates and in one case mentions Glasgow Scotland! Next stop is shipping lists as I have an approximate date (year only). Recent efforts have been spent on other parts of the family tree (My mum's side) My goal is to bring all Australian pieces up to date before I go back to the Irish/Scottish(?) connection. Regards DT
