Weldon Merchant is a talented nationally recognized jeweler, sculptor, and artist. Some of his more notable works are: The Bryan Mural in West Point, MS, the Brinkly Plaza copper entrance canopy at Main and Monroe in Memphis, The Trinity Presbyterian Cross in Starkville, silverwork in the National Collection of Fine Arts of the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC, where he exhibited in 1976. Numerous works are in private collections throughout the nation as well as public architectural works.
