Khanid Bookstore wins court case about copyrights violation
Published: October 8th, 2008

In our previous report we announced that The Khanid Bookstore and its CEO, The Bookseller had started court proceedings against a competitor who was infringing on our copyrights in their choice of name and logo.

In a clear and swift verdict the court has ruled that The Khanid Bookstores rights were indeed violated and has ordered the offending party to change the name under which it operates, the name of the corporation and the logo.

All changes have since been implemented.

Going to court was not an easy step, but we strongly felt that our rights and brandname needed protection by the court.

We wish to express our gratitude to the court for its verdict and the speed with which it was reached.

We are delighted that we can leave this episode behind us now and go back to selling books to all in Khanid Kingdom!
