| Keyser, WV, - Thelma M. Keplinger, 63 of 283 Poplar Drive, Keyser, WV, died Thursday, Mar. 5, 1998, at the Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser, WV. Born Sept. 17, 1934 in Grant County, WV, she was the daughter of Leatha V. (Smith) McNemar, Keyser, and the late Henry J. McNemar. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Samantha Ellen Keplinger who died Feb. 27, 1998. Mrs. Keplinger attended the Piedmont Pentecostal Holiness Church, Piedmont, WV. Surviving besides her mother are her husband, Ernest E. Keplinger, three sons, Steven Burgess and wife Marie, Richmond, VA, David Keplinger, Keyser, and Joseph Keplinger and wife Tammy, Norfolk, VA; four daughters, Lisa Long and husband Richard, Keyser, Debra Hambleton and husband David, Keyser, Melissa Love and husband Brian, Ridgeley, WV and Linda Dennis and husband James, "Peanut", of Keyser; one brother Eugene McNemar, Burlington, WV, one sister Freda "Becky" Fertig, Kearneysville, WV; and 9 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted in the Rotruck Smith Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, Mar. 7 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Tom Brackett officiating. | James Albert Kisner, 56 of Fisher, died Tuesday, October 06, 1998 at the Grant Memorial Hospital, Petersburg. Born April 07, 1942, in Bayard, WV, he was the son of Luvada Frances (Dunithan) Rinker, Petersburg and the late James F. Kisner. He was also preceded in death by one brother, David Dunithan. Mr. Kisner worked for Alt�s Furniture in Petersburg, for nine years. He made his home with Tom and Vera Michael, Fisher, WV, the past six years. Besides his mother, he is survived by one son, James A. Kisner of Oakland, Maryland; four brothers, George Paugh and John D. Kisner of Oakland, Maryland, Roy Lee Stickley of Keyser and Joseph Trumble of Gaithersburg, Maryland; five sisters, Jean Miller of Indianapolis, Indiana, Loretta Mae DeWitt of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Debra Lee Barber of Philadelphia, PA, Melody King of Oakland and Mary Ellen Brown of Elk Garden. Born March 8, 1906, in Pansy, she was the daughter of the late Ruben and Annie Frances (Judy) Ayers. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Leon "Loudy" Keplinger on June 4, 1971; two daughters, infant Annabelle Keplinger and Eula Mae Borror; two sons, Earl Junior Keplinger and Paul Clifton Keplinger; one brother, Glen Ayers; and two sisters, infant Leslie Ayers and Mernie Crites. Mrs. Keplinger attended Bethel Church of the Brethren. Surviving are two sons, Warney R. Ayers, Petersburg, and Jesse E. Keplinger, Cusseta, Ga.; four daughters, Goldie F. Reel, Virgie C. Mary Frances "Cubbie" Kimble, 79, of Petersburg, died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000, at the Grant Memorial Hospital. Born July 14, 1921, in Fort Seybert, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Janie (Cowger) Nesselrodt. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Reginald C. Kimble, June 25, 1983. Mrs. Kimble graduated from Petersburg High School in 1938. She and her husband owned and operated R.C. Kimble General Store in Maysville from 1945-1984. She was a charter member of the Maysville Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and the Maysville Homemakers Club, a member of the Brick Church of the Brethren and attended the Grove Street United Methodist Church and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She also was a member of the Potomac Highlands VFW Post 6454 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a volunteer at the Grant County Nursing Home where she was selected Volunteer of the Year in 1996 and was a Grant County Belle in 1991. She worked under the Foster Grandparents Program with the Little Place Day Care Center in Petersburg until her illness. Surviving are two sons, Reginald C. Kimble Jr. of Charles Town and Chuck L. Born December 31, 1955, in Grant County, he was a son of Clara (Rohrbaugh) Keplinger and the late Stanley Keplinger. Besides his mother, also surviving are six sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Gillaspie, Mt. Storm; Mrs. Rose Wratchford, Petersburg; Mrs. Thelma Kuykendall, Alexandria, Va.; Mrs. Madeline Haford, Sykesville, and Miss Aileen Keplinger and Miss Linda Keplinger, both at home; three brothers, Leonard Keplinger, Falls Church, Va.; Gerald Keplinger, Edgewater, Md., and Dale Keplinger, Petersburg. The body is at the Schaeffer Funeral Home, Petersburg, where friends will be received today. A service will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Maysville Gospel Center by Rev. Lowell R. Rogers. Interment will be in the Maysville Cemetery. Keplinger, 39, of Lahmansville, died suddenly Wednesday July 6. 1966 at Mt. Storm. A native of Grant County, he was a son of Mrs. Emma (Harper) Keplinger and the late Walter C. Keplinger. He was employed as a truck driver and was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church. She had been in declining health and death was attributed to lung cancer. She was born February 27, 1925 at Brunswick, Maryland, a daughter of the late W. Griffiths and Nannie Lee Thompson. She was married to Fred Kile, who survives at Petersburg, WV. Also surviving are one son; Charles Edward Lang, Jr., of Baltimore, Md., and two daughters; Barbara Lee Litzinger and husband Richard of Perryman, Md., and Nancy Louise Rockne and husband Allen of Arizona, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by one brother; Lionel Griffiths. She attended the schools of Maryland. Born April 25, 1905, at Upper Tract, she was the daughter of the late John Arthur �Ott� Judy and Mary Alice Wagoner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ottis Kimble, February 22, 1977. Mrs. Kimble was a member of the Upper Tract Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two sons, Daniel j. Kimble and Boyd Kimble, both of Franklin; five daughters, Helen Weese of Moorefield, Sitty Dunkle of Franklin, Lucille Torrence of Upper Tract, Betty Ann Alt of Gambrills, Maryland and Sue Eskridge of Annandale, Virginia; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services were Sunday afternoon at the Basagic Funeral Home Chapel, Franklin, with the Rev. Bruce Cosner and the Rev. Walter Mullins officiating. Interment was in Cherry hill Cemetery at Upper Track. Born July 18, 1930, at Dry Fork, she was the daughter of Grace Nelson Lantz of Upper Tract and the late Frank Simmons. She was also preceded in death by one daughter and gone great �granddaughter. Mrs. Kimble was a homemaker. She attended Brushy Run Church of God. Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Roy E. Kimble, whom she married April 17, 1949; four sons, Vernon R. Kimble of Linden, Virginia, Lorenza Kimble and Wm Eugene Kimble, both of Upper Track, and Jeffery Kimble of Flint Hill, Virginia; three daughters, Delores Shirk of Upper Tract, Joyce Shockey of Brandywine and Armenda Ryder of Front Royal, Virginia; nine grandchildren and four great Grandchildren. Funeral services were Friday morning at the Brushy Run Church of God with Pastor Bruce Cosner officiating. Interment was in Bowers Cemetery near Upper tract.
