Gauntlet of Prejudice (or G.O.P) was first started as a joke, playing just for fun. But finally when pen hit paper it was realized that we wanted music to be more than a fun hobby. The original three members were Ben Withington (lead vocals and keyboard), Rob Leon (Bass guitar and vocals), Jay Linderman (backup guitar). Later Wesley Adams (drums) and Ryan Hamlin (lead guitar and vocals) joined the band. |

Alright, so my name is jay and I play guitar, I've never really stuck with an instrument for long but guitar is interesting. I've gone through violin, trombone, and piano. I love tons of music like O.A.R., The Flecktones, Pink Floyd, led Zepplin, Dispatch, Queen, and...lots more just I can't name them off the top of my head. So yah, listen to our songs, look at the pictures and give us money. |

Hey, I play bass in the band Gauntlet of Prejudice. Perhaps you've heard of them, considering you're at their site. Anyway, I've been playing bass since I was around 13, you do the math. I've been best friends with these guys since elementary school and in the past couple years we've been getting into music more and more. I picked up bass when Jay started playing guitar, it just seemed like the obvious thing to do, but I've been constantly growing in my bass skills since then and have no regrets. Rock |

I have been listening to music since I was a small lad. I started out listening to things such as loud screaming bands but have mellowed out just a little. I have been inspired since I was about 13 by bands like weezer, nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, Smashing Pumpkins, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. i had drum lessons for a year when I was 13 but quit and just play around with my cheap set every day at home. |
