1. Age: 23

2. City in which you currently live: Pearl City, Hawaii

3. Hometown: Detroit area (0-4yr), Marquette, MI (4-11), Park Forest, IL(11-19)

4. Occupation: Hawaii Pacific University student, computer science

5. Single/Married: Married since February ‘97

6. Kids (and ages): One 3-year old

7. Years playing APBA: 14

8. How many APBA games do you roll per year: As many as my wife lets me get away with!

9. Favorite Baseball team and why (current): I’m a 4th generation Tiger fan.

10. Favorite Baseball team and why (all-time): Heck, you can’t like the Tigers right now if they ain’t you favorite all-time.

11. Favorite Baseball player and why (current): Probably Bobby Higginson (Thank goodness he resigned for four more years)

12. Favorite Baseball player and why (all-time): Dale Murphy, Alan Trammell and Nolan Ryan are my big three.

13. Favorite Baseball stadium (current): Restricted to the ones I’ve been to I’d say Comiskey.  Comerica and PacBell look nice, though.

14. List of Major League Baseball stadiums you’ve been to: Tiger Stadium, old Comiskey, new Comiskey, Wrigley, Oakland-Alamada, Metrodome, Milwaukee County, Busch

15. Favorite College Team: I’m only exposed to University of Hawaii’s baseball team, so I guess them

16. Non-APBA hobbies: Baseball and computer… usually baseball on the computer!

17. If I could play MLB, what position would I play: Pitcher… there’s nothing better than watching a batter’s jaw drop after wringing him up on a nasty curve.  I’d probably hang most of them right now, but in my day…

18. Most Memorable APBA Moment (sentences/paragraphs OK here): A few stand out, but I don’t know which is most memorable… ask me again when I’m old, like 40ish.  I joined an APBA league at age 13.  Ron Robinson pitched a no-hitter for me in my first month.  After being out of that league for about six years, I rejoined.  In my first home game back Todd Hundley (.207-24 card) hit three homers… One each off of 66, 33, and 11.

19. If you had a chance to have dinner with any baseball player that ever lived, who would that be? I’d probably say Dale Murphy… all the dead ones are probably decayed by now!

20. General Comments (Do you like the DH?  Do you like interleague play?  Have you ever rolled any No Hitters or Perfect games?  Ever end a game in a “Walk Off Home Run?) Not a big fan of the DH, but I’m not gonna bust a gut over it.  I do not like interleague play.  It makes the World Series less special.  It has the chance to alter wildcard (yuck) outcomes.  I’ve rolled two no-hitters in league play (Ron Robinson for me and someone I forget against me).  At least one (Pedro Martinez vs ’99 KC) in replay type rolling.  Lots of “walk off homers”.  Most recent being my first home game in the NEL… Edgardo Alfonzo.
