My Biography
Born June 5th, 1969, I grew up in St. Clair Shores MI. Grew up with 3 brothers, I think we'd all agree that there could not have been a better place to grow up than in the Shores. There was always something to do, living just two blocks from our elementary school where there was a playground and ball fields. I was always active in sports, three years playing organized basketball, fours years of baseball, a year of football and many days andnights playing hockey on the lake and canals. There was always somewhere to skate and we did. I never spent much time in the house. We were always out doing something, one popular choice was to try to kill ourselves on bicycles.
My music started when I was in 4th grade when I began playing the Trumpet. In 7th grade I switched to the Tuba. I continued playing Tuba right through 10th grade. High school band was mostly fun. We traveled alot for competitions, mostly for marching band. Marching band was very time consuming, there was alot of after school time there. Which is one of the reasons I quit, the other being that I disliked the conductor. At this time I had already started playing Bass Guitar. I wanted more time to play with the rock band I was in, Letching Grey. I became a full time Bassist and I haven't stopped since. For more details please see the bands pages within my website.
Through my high school years I also majored in Auto Shop, Learning to work on cars was something I had always wanted to do. I always appreciated muscle cars, and always wanted one. Through the years and beyond high school me and my brothers have always souped up cars. I've had a few Hot Rods in my days. My high school ride was a 76 Cougar with a rebuilt 351W, that car ran good. I suppose Lakeview was a good school to attend, there was definitely no guns being brought in.
Nowadays when I'm not working the 8 to 5  I'm polishing my Mustang, riding snowmobiles or playing with computers. I've recently upgraded my computer and I've been copying old VHS tapes to DVD. I like to stay busy, recently I have created the CARBIDE web site. Having found a few perks of MYSPACE sites...Check them out...and lately I've spent lots of time on the You Tube site.         The NEW Scoop: The NEW band. As of July 06 I've spent time jamming with some Guys. 'Ghost at the Wheel' is: Joe Schiros-Vocals, Mike Seeger-guitar, Mike Murray-Guitar, Todd Brite-Drums and of course myself on Bass. It's been slow going having not playing out yet as of April  07, I guess we're fine tuning as we are recording frequently. Stay tuned...!!!!
