Desert Sun
As I look at the city
all I see are fences
The people I see are blind,
The water is not blue,
The sky is not clear,
The trees are not green
As I gaze upon the
people, the children are taught to
Hate,
And kill,
And condemn
Society
has barred us from doing as we wish,
And yet my
voice is silent because society is deaf
