Gargoyles Fans Postcard Exchange -- News

Holy cow! An update!

I'm sure everyone that's been to the site is wondering just what's up with no updates since this site was kicked off. There's a simple answer: LACK OF INTEREST!

Then, I wandered across the latest Avalon Mists, and WHOA! There was a link to this site! ((Christine, I wish you'd TOLD me! Gah! Then I would have had time to clean this place up! **Sweeps all of the stray typos and dustmotes out the door** ^_^;;;))

Anyway, we now have a grand total of FIVE members! These five members may go ahead and start eMailing/ICQing/AIMing each other and requesting to exchange postcards.

To get this site into the next phase, I'm going to post the first challenge: to complete as many postcard exchanges as possible (within reason!) by June 1, 2001! I haven't decided what the prize will be, though I have an idea. ((Crzy, you'd BETTER send me those danglers ASAP!))

A successful postcard exchange is defined as you sending a postcard to another member, and then they send one to you in return. You can only count each person ONCE for this challenge, so no fair exchanging five postcards between yourself and one other person. If you do, that's fine, but you can only pick one to count for the challenge. ;)

Exchanged postcards that count for the challenge MUST be postmarked between January 9th and June 1st. As of June 1st, participants have one week to send an eMail to [email protected] with the number of successful exchanges, and a list of the people with whom you have exchanged postcards. The winning list will be posted here at least seven days after I recieve your eMail. At that point, I'll ask each person on the list to send in an eMail confirming that they did, indeed exchange postcards with the winner.

REMEMBER! Qualifying post cards MUST be SOMEHOW Gargoyles-related! See the Game Rules page for more info about this.

If I can come up with a prize, I'll post it here. At the very least, I will post the postcards recieved by the winner on the site, pending they have a means of getting them scanned for me.

Also, I'd like to think about having a monthly feature where I post a gallery of postcards recieved by a member chosen at random. eMail me and let me know what you think about this idea!
