Claudia Kohde (Kilsch).. born on the 11th December 1963 in Saarbruecken, Germany, a top class 'serve and volley' player, also a renowned doubles player, in particular with Helena Sukova winning Wimbledon (1987) and the USOpen (1985).. also in singles reaching the Semi Finals of the Australian Open 3 times, and also the Semi Finals of the French Open in 1985, as well as a quarter finalist at Wimbledon and the USOpen.. I followed Claudia from Kitzbuehel 1980 (Picture above far right) until she retired, visiting over 200 tournaments around the World, making great friends, seeing fantastic places, and finding a great friend in Claudia, as well of course as some great tennis to watch.

Claudia was always at home on grass with her dynamic 'Serve and Volley' game, and obviously her greatest victory was the Wimbledon Doubles with Helena Sukova in 1987. She also won the Birmingham singles title, defeating Pam Shriver in 1988.
This is just a small insight, and my appreciation to Claudia... I have a 'Tennis Site' with more pictures, if you click on the picture below that will take you to the site 'Tennis Girls'.
