Third Day Journey
So here comes the third day (Friday, 25 Feb 2005). I got enough rest for the long long night and
hardly know that what's happening actually outside the windows of hotel.
What a big surprise!! It should have been snowing for the whole night, we found that the street
were filled with ice block every where, though I missed the moment when snowing came, I am still
very happy to be standing there and feel how freezing could be under a snowy climate.
Today we will be targeting to Shibuya (涉谷), we left the hotel at 10:30, then take the JR (山手線)
again, it is the next station after Harajuku (原宿), so basically it is about 18 minutes riding time.
The weather is not really so good so we have to bring an umbrella with us.
Shibuya (涉谷) is always the origin which master the trend of fashion
(especially for ladies - my GF spent a lot here! Posssibly more that $10,000 HKD...)
We start from "01 JAM", which is an 8 storey shopping arcade mainly for female and then we
moved on to "01 City", here is the place where I found many "Patrick Cox" decorations such as:
Necklace, Ear Ring and many other Silver stuff which drives me mad, I couldn't refuse trying
them and finally I spent around ~ $2000 HKD, which my GF were crazy at the otherside for those
lovely necklace of Anna Sui which is seldom seen from Hong Kong.
At the time when we felt hungry, it was already 15:00, it is our wish to try Japanese Curry
locally, so we just picked the 松屋 to fill up our empty stomach.
We then continued with the famous PARCO 1, 2 & 3. It is actually composed of 3 buildings separately.
It is a place full of boutiques for ladies and you may expect my GF is opening her wallet again.
You may asked if I was bored throughout the journey? But the truth is -
NEVER !!!
You won't understand that the sales ladies in Tokyo are so beautiful that I really can't shut my eyes,
they are so polite and cute that is completely different with the attitude of ladies from HK. Moreover,
all the shopping arcade are warmed by air conditioner and so all of them dress like as if it is
summer, how sexy it could be!
Our next stop is a big comic book shop underground (Mandarake), here is where I found the picture-book of
my favorite idol - Yabuki Joe (矢吹丈), I won't be able to find any of his stuff elsewhere unless
in JAPAN.
At 18:30, we were really tired and we rest in a coffee shop for about half hours, by the time we came out
the sky was all dark and the night time of Shibuya (涉谷) began.
We walked for another hour along the famous 公園通, then we head back to the hotel at 20:00.
As both of us spent a lot today, we just dined at Wendy's, the burger is fine for us as we haven't taste
Wendy's for a long time since it disappear from HK serveral years ago.
