Bauer's World
This is a web-site designed to show everyone the adventures that I have been on in my short and meaningless life.  I was born in Portland, OR on October 5, 1981.  I lived in Portland for seven years before moving to colorful Colorado.  I graduated from Evergreen High School as part of the class of 2000.  I graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2004 with a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering.  At the present time I work for a company named Summitek Instruments.  I work as a Software Engineer programing using LabVIEW.  I enjoy my job very much.  I am madly in love with one Cassandra Leigh Bauer and have one brother Scott.  My parents are Charles and Katherine.  I have a beautiful Siberian Husky named Denali and a cat named Cirie.

I enjoy sports a lot!  At the present time my favorite thing to do is to climb Colorado's beautiful 14,000 foot mountains known as 14ers.  This is something that I have spent much of the last few years doing.  At the present, I have climbed 32 of the 54 14ers in the state of Colorado.  My goal is to climb them all.  I wanted to climb them all in a span of five years, but seven years have allready come and gone.  I am a little behind, but with hard work and perseverence, I hope to meet my goal, with a little time tacked on to the end.  My ultimate goal is to one day conquer both Mt. Everest and Denali Peak (Mt. McKinley).  This is something that is sort of a dream, but one day I would like to accomplish this feat.

I enjoy traveling.  I have visited many different countries in my short life.  Each one has shown me things that I shall never forget.  At the present time the countries that I have visited are:  The United States of America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Danemark, Sweden, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Japan, South Korea, Greece, Egypt, and Turkey.  All of these countries have many different things to offer.  I would have to say that the most interesting was Australia.  The animals that you can see there are like none other in the world.

Another hobby that I enjoy thouroughly is 4-wheeling, or off-roading.  I own a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic with a 5 inch lift, Warn winch and pull bar system, Warn flood and spot lights, a Thule roof rack, and oversized 33" BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain tires.  I use this wonderful piece of equipement to travel through the back-country of Colorado's most beautiful destinations.  This is something that I enjoy very much.

I am an ametuer photographer, and enjoy beautiful scenary.  Animals are my favorite things to take pictures of, although I do like mountain scenary as well.  This web-site is to show the places that I have been, and the things that I have seen.  Enjoy!
