These are pictures of some of the things that I saw when I was in Korea.  They include the Korean War Memorial, Namsom Seoul Tower, Jungmyo, Topgal Park, and Daemongseon Mountain.
The Kims
These are bunkers that remain from the Korean war.  They are found on the northern side of Daemongseon Mountain. This is the marker at the top of Daemongseon Mountain.  Elevation 293 meters above sea-level. This is a metal presented to the Korean government by the United Nations for the promotion of democracy.
Namson Seoul Tower.  One of the most known towers in the world.

This is a victory statue created by the Korean government to celebrate the defeat of Communism.

These are some missles used by the Korean Army during the Korean War. This is the building that houses the Korean War Memorial.

This is a tablet depicting the persecution that the Korean people went through in the years prior to the Declaration of Independence.  There are ten tablets showing different stages in their history.
This is a memorial commemorating the reading of the Declaration of Independence in Topgal Park in 1919.  There is a copy of the Declaration in both Korean and English carved in marble, and the signatures of those who signed it.

This is the King's Refuge from the outside at Jungmyo.  This is the King would come to pay his respects to his ancestors.
This is indside of the King's Refuge.  It is in the center of the surrounding buildings.
This is a ten story marble pagoda that was built in 1497 as a replica of a pagodo built in 1495 during the Joseon Dynasty.  It was moved to Topgal Park in 1947.
