Discussed importance of water to humans, and answered questions 1+3 from page 5.

Took up homework. Reveiwed all info needed for test on Tuesday.

GEOGRAPHY:

Reviewed the notes the resources groups made last week. Compared and contrasted renewable, non-renewable and flow resources. Discussed location of renewable resources. Began to compare Canada's and Russia's renewable resources (soil, forests & fishing).

HW: Complete the comparison for next class.

SCIENCE:

Took note on water pollution and purification.

Copied a diagram of water map into notes.

No homework.

Study for test on Monday April 28th

MATH:

Wrote a quiz on volume, capacity and mass.

HW: pg. 292-293 #1-30, 35-43.

GYM:

Played lacrosse outside

Worked on geography assignment in groups. Must have paragraphs done for next Geography Class!

MATH:

Took up homework. Reviewed relationship between volume, capacity, and mass.

HW: BLM 8.10 all

LANGUAGE:

Shared responses to "MUAN" using co-operative learning "inside/outside circle"

Discussed qualities of level 1, 2, 3 and 4 sample responses.

3rd response to be completed next week - and 1 of the last 3 must be published and handed in next Friday!

SCIENCE:

Had time to form study groups and review material for test on Monday.
