Sisterhood events are the best way to create lifetime friendships in Gamma Phi. Social events offer a great way to get to know more students at CSUF. Our socials are something to look forward to and include Formals, exchanges, date dashes and sporting events. These events provide a great opportunity to have fun and make long lasting memories.

 Gamma Phi provides academic support. We offer an extensive scholarship and mentor program to ensure you excel in academics! Great networking opportunities for future jobs, including supportive alumnae networks and lifelong bonds with your sisters especially through my SisterLink an exclusive online network, similar to Facebook, but only for sisters of Gamma Phi!

 Campfire USA is our national philanthropy and we're lucky to have a campsite location close by so our members can interact with the kids! We participate in all philanthropic events hosted by the fraternities and other sororities. It's a great opportunity to contribute to other Greek organization and make new friends. We’re also passionate about serving the community and other organizations such as Relay for Life and various other philanthropic projects that are important to our sisters.

Most important of all, Gamma Phi Beta is a sisterhood
that provides its members with love, support, loyalty, and friendship not
for four years but for a lifetime! The bonds created in Gamma Phi are strong
enough for last forever which is evident by our alumnae who are still
extremely close and even come back to visit years after they graduate! |
Gamma Phi Beta is an International
Sorority dedicated to helping women realize their full potential. Joining Gamma
Phi means making life long friends. Gamma Phi gives you the chance for
individual growth through academic excellence, leadership development, social
enrichment and philanthropic involvement that will take you wherever you want to
go with your life.
Our chapter provides a balance- we love to work hard and
play hard. We believe that giving to your community, developing moral and
ethical integrity in all aspects of life, and striving for excellence in all
levels of your endeavors are elements that one learns as a part of sorority
life. You get out what you put in, and Gamma Phi ensures that you have every
opportunity available to you to get involved.

| Friday, September 18th | 6:00 PM | Potential New Member Orientation | Tonight you will meet your Sigma Rho Chi (Sorority Recruitment Counselor). They will go over with you how Recruitment weekend will work as well as answer any questions you may have. |
| Saturday, September 19th | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Panhellenic Day | Today will be an introduction to all six sororities at CSUF. You will gain insight to the benefits of being Greek and what makes each chapter special and unique. All recruitment parties will be held inside the Titan Student Union. |
| Sunday, September 20th | 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM | Philanthropy Day |
Today, you will visit the sorority houses and learn about their philanthropy and civic engagement. Parties will consist of hands-on creative projects that you and the sorority members will make for donations to various charities. This is a glimpse of the importance of community service in Greek life. You will be greeted at each house by energetic songs and cheers. Some houses may choose to introduce you to many members, while in others, you may meet just a few. Feel free to ask questions and tell them a little bit about yourself as well. |
| Monday, September 21nd | 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM | Preference Night | This is the night to focus on your feelings toward the sorority. An invitation to a preference party means the sorority is very interested in you becoming a member. You will participate in beautiful ceremonies meaningful to each chapter and will have the chance to talk privately with a member. During this time, she may share with you how the chapter made their decision, what her sorority means to her, and the ideals of sisterhood. |
| Tuesday, September 22nd | Begins at 3:00 PM | Bid Day! | Bid Day is the most exciting day of recruitment. This is the day you will find your new home and meet your sisters! Every potential new member receiving a bid will gather in front of the Titan Theater inside the TSU. After finding out which sorority extended you a bid, you will meet your new sisters and sit together and for a revealing of the Recruitment Counselors. Next, you and your new class will meet up at the sorority house, where all its members are waiting for you to join them! Congratulations! Today you embark on a sisterhood that will last a lifetime. |
