| Our History |
| Gamma Chi Sigma was founded at Frostburg State University on November 16, 2002. The purpose of the sorority is to promote sisterhood throughout the sorority, provide service in the community, provide scholarships, and to promote spirit in and off campus during school activities and sorority events. Gamma Chi Sigma's insignia consists of the colors purple and green, a mascot the dragonfly, a symbol the sun, a flower the daisy, and the jewel the emerald. |
| As the Gamma Chi Sigma sorority at Frostburg State University, our purpose is to follow the 4 S's: sisterhood service scholarship spirit The chapter is also committed to portraying the same involvement and service in the community as well as on the Frostburg State University campus. Gamma Chi Sigma wished to be a part of campus activities and to promote positive leadership skills to fellow sisters. |
