It also offers an exclusive library of games, backwards compatibility, 4K resolution and 8k output with HDR, and its controllers possess haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and built in microphones.

XBOX Series S

Developed by Microsoft Gaming, The Xbox Series S offers performance and power, it sports a custom AMD zen 2 CPU & RDNA 2 GPU. This means that while being powered by the same AMD as the series x, it is designed for 1440p gaming rather than 4K, but is still able to upscale to 4K. It runs at a comfortable 120fps, and comes with 512GB of storage. This console is the most compact in its line, but is entirely digital with no disc drive meaning all games must be downloaded or used with the Microsofts exclusive gamepass.

Developed by Nintendo, The Switch is a lightweight portable home console made for family use and sports multiplayer games to enjoy with friends and family. It is a unique console as it is able to be played taken out of its stand and be used on the go. It has detachable joy-cons with motion controls and HD rumble, Also the Switch sports many first party exclusives unable to be played on other gaming devices. As a handhold device, it sports a decent battery life of 4.5-9 hours and charges via USB-C. The Nintendo Switch is certainly one of the most versatile consoles, but sadly its performance does hinder its overall ratings as it is unable to support high performance games.
