It was a normal day, and you were all working in the barn.
Then the Orcs came.
There was fire, and screaming. Your familys and friends were being slaughtered, and your houses ransacked and burned. Everyone is dead, accept for your small band. Three orcs are left, and you can see them from the window of the barn.
This is the start of our unlucky heros' adventure. At this point, they are normal folk, with 10 in every stat, the only weapons they have are farm tools, which do a max of 1d4 damage. The heros should find a way to get rid of the orcs with the things they have around them, trying to avoid combat, since they will most likly get slaughtered. My group lured them into the barn, then burned it down with oil and torches. But whatever works. After they somehow get rid of the orcs, read the following to them.
You manage to elude certain doom, and feel a need to find vengence.
Now the characters become normal DnD characters, with rolled stats etc. Don't let them use starting packages, but have them roll for gold and have to buy equipent in town.
The adventure begins.
