Gambarmotekar is a sort art shadow puppet theater. Performance gambarmotekar utilize puppet shadow model and light as well as wayang in Javanese culture (Indonesia). Played by one or a number mastermind (puppeteer) was escorted by music, sinden (singer), and at odd moments dancer. But is not as common to puppet show any other that attending with silhouette's shadow, gambarmotekar constitutes new finding that can be present figure shadow in full color. It happens since its puppet shadow made from (waste) plastic, transparent coloration, and special light and screen type.
Shadowed intensity most projects to gambarmotekar screen can result zoomed figures without loss its sharpness.

Gambarmotekar, maybe, constituting pioneer and now as the one and only full color shadow puppet's art in the world. Found and developed by Herry Dim (a visual's artist or artist) and M Tavip (lightman and theatrical artistic) after pass through experiment up to 4 years.

First performed in Bandung, 30th June 2001. Since that time KlubBambarMotekar  (a. non formal company worker for gambarmotekar) performed several repertoires and evens out workshop at various community, notably children community.*
