The First Run
The nearly finished loco, named Lady Galtbe is pictured right on its first outing at my local Model Engineering club before the name plates, running gear and dome were added.
Another picture taken of the Trojan on its first outing, this time on the move.  Of note is the small box hanging on the lead from the right hand window.  This is the display on the current meter, which is reading 5.48Amps, which is a typical current pulled at average speed with two passengers.  Even with a full train the current rarely peaks above 10Amps.
