Betty Newbie Weds John Mackenzie |

|
Betty Newbie who was recently elected Mayor of Simmerset, married John Mackenzie in a private ceremony at a vacation lodge. The couple had just recently met and the marriage came as a surprise to many Simmerset residents. Betty has been active in the community along with Christopher Martin in efforts to promote home fire safety since the death of her husband Bob in a fire at the Martin home. Her husband John recently moved to Simmerset from the village of Simkeep. |

McTavish Sisters Organize Simmerset Humane Society |

Molly and Nickie McTavish have organized Simmerset's first ever humane society. With the new addition of pets to the community since the neighborhood expansion incorporated a large community to the west, the sisters felt there was a need to establish an organizaton to better help Simmerset residents understand the new additions possible to their homes. With so many strays now roaming neighborhood homes, the sisters felt there needed to be a society in town which would help promote the adoption of animals. The young ladies have four dogs. Derry, Carden, D'Artayon and Aramis. D'Artayon and Aramis are beagles named after the four musketeers. Their two brothers, Porthos and Athos were placed with two other Sim families in Simmerset. |

The Simmerset community is very grateful to the efforts of Molly and Nickie in helping families adopt animals that will be welcome additions to Sim families. They are achieving this through education about different types of animals and their characteristics trying to match Sim residents with the most suitable pet. The sisters are both animal magicans and the magical love they have for these new additions to Simmerset is seen by all the residents. |

MACKENZIE'S HAVE BABY BOY! |

John and Betty Mackenzie had a baby boy at 8:37 a.m.the morning of November 3. The couple had been trying hard to have a child since their marriage without any success, so the baby is a very welcome addition to the Mackenzie household. The couple named their son Patrick. |
