The Wedding
April 22 - The big day here in Mayfair Plaza, with all our shopping done we woke up early in the morning on Tuesday, April 22 and got ready for the wedding.  We felt a rush of excitement as we dressed for the occassion.  This was the day that so many have been waiting for, to see Natalija Kosminski from Mayfair Plaza and Cletus Jones of Smallville joined together in matrimony.  The blossoming of the first inter-neighborhood romance between the couple, and the obstacles Cletus had to overcome to get to Mayfair Plaza in the early days of Sim travel when jetting between neighborhoods was new and fraught with unknowns.  But their love was strong enough to overcome distance, and now Nickie and I were present in this wonderful community surrounded by caring neighbors, about to witness the marriage of two Sims whose love for each other triumphed over every obstacle.
My wife looked so gorgeous in her navy blue gown, that if I was not already deeply in love with her, I would have surely fallen in love all over again.

The ceremony was very solemn and beautiful as the couple exchanged their wedding vows. Natalija and Cletus were surrounded by their family and friends, and a hush fell over the guests as they became man and wife.  Nickie and I were happy that we were in Mayfair Plaza to be a part of their day.  It was an honor to have them pose with us for one of their wedding portraits.  New friends that we had only known for a couple of days.
The reception was held after the wedding, and was well attended by a large number of family and friends.  We had a wonderful time.  I enjoyed dancing with Nickie.  I am certainly glad we came.  We have not only met  many wonderful Sims but the time we have spent together exploring this community and meeting its folks is very precious.  After the party, Nickie and I returned to the Sunflower cottage and spent the rest of the evening together.
April 23 - We spent a quiet day at home after all the wedding preparations on Monday, and the big wedding yesterday.  It was nice to sit around the Sunflower Cottage and relax.  I even got to enjoy the hot tub.  After we had dinner and were watching television, we got the call telling us that Natalija had given birth to a baby daughter.  Cletus and Natalija named her Alesky Louisa.  Congratulations to the happy couple!
Tomorrow we will begin seeing the sights of Mayfair Plaza.  I am looking forward to it, because there are many  places that we want to see while we are here.  All the historic old town and downtown districts.  There will be many things to see and many Sims to meet.  So it's off to bed to get rested for the next several days!
May 1 - We have spent the last several days sightseeing in Mayfair Plaza.  We have seen many points of interest in the community and met many wonderful Sims.  Nickie thought it would be nice to include some of the photos we took around town to share with everyone who is following our journey to Sim neighborhoods.
There are so many highpoints of our visit here but getting to know Colette Kosminski was very special.  I actually got to meet the artist who painted my portrait.  She has done many portraits which can be purchased from Colette's Studio at Mayfair Plaza. I may be seen admiring some of her work which is hanging at the Sunflower Cottage.  My wife really enjoyed visiting with her.
Meeting Lucy Test Author of "Life with a Special Child" on Simmerville Web
We ran into Lucy Test during a day we spent at the beach.  Nickie recognized her right away as the author of a series of articles on Simmerville Web entitled "Life with a Special Child"  My wife avidly follows her series, and was very happy to get to meet with her.  Lucy has recently suffered a terrible tragedy with the kidnapping and murder of one of her children, Adam Test.  She was very gracious to us and talked about our travels.  Lucy wanted to know how we were adjusting to life in Mayfair Plaza.  A truly wonderful and heroic Sim.
Some quiet time in the midst of our visit to this fair community.  To day we had a lovely picnic at the beach, and afterward we rented a couple of boats and sailed them on the pond with some other residents of Mayfair Plaza.
