Apple Spice Muffins |

1 Cup flour 1 Cup wheat germ 1/2 Tsp cinnamon 1/2 Tsp salt 3 Tsps baking powder 2/3 Cup milk 1/4 Cup corn oil 1 Cup chopped apple
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, and grease a muffin tin, Mix dry ingredients first, then blend in other ingredients until you have a moist, doughy mixture. Fill each muffin tin slot half full, then bake 15-25 mins. Allow the muffins to cool before serving. |

Bran/COB Mash |

6 Cups of COB (mixture of Corn, Oats and Barley) 1 1/2 Cups of Bran 1 Apple, cut into quarters 3 Carrots, sliced 1/2 Cup molasses Hot water
Place ingredients in a feed bucket. Pour on just enough water to cover all ingredients. Cover bucket with a towel and let steam until cool enough to eat, but still warm. Remove towel amd mix thoroughly. |

Horse Hor D'Oeuvres |

2 Shredded Carrots 1 Shredded Apple 1/2 Cup of Bran 1/2 Cup Wheat Flour 1/4 Cup dry Oatmeal 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar 1/3 Cup Molasses 1/2 Cup Water
First, preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, and grease a muffin tin with shortening or oil. Then, mix dry ingredients, and stir in molasses and water. The mixture should be thing and doughy (add more bran and/or water accordingly). Spoon dough into the muffin tin and backe 30-50 minutes. Tip: To determine wheather the muffins' are cooked all the way through poke a toothpick into a muffin's center, and remove it. If it comes out clean (without moist dough), they're done! |
