Gabriel and Jada Galicia are the founders of the fifth Weyr of Pern. In the middle of the First Pass the dragonrider decided that more than just Fort Weyr was needed. Benden Weyr, Telgar Weyr, and Ista Weyr were created to the East while Galicia Weyr was created on the Far Western Continent. Gabriel and Jada were chosen to start the Weyr on the Western Continent. At Galicia Weyr Jada was the Weyrwoman and Goldrider of Aaliyath and her Weyrmate was Gabriel, Weyrleader and Bronzerider of Harith.
Current Storyline
After two hundred turns in an interval the Weyr is now faced with coming of the Second Pass of the Red Star and Thread. However, disater struck a turn ago when an unknown person piosoned all of the eggs that were going to Hatch plus two Queen dragons and their riders. Reynath became the last Queen dragon at Galicia. Her rider feared that they too might be poisoned, so they did not rise for a whole turn. Now the mating flight has finally occurred and there are eggs waiting to Hatch. Kyra's Weyrmate, Weyrleader K'ton and his Bronze Tiernath, guard the eggs relentlessly with the help of the other Bronze dragons and riders. No one is allowed to see the eggs though, except for the Queen and her rider. So what will happen at the Hatching? Will there be a Gold egg? Who will impress the Hatchlings?
