WAITING PATIENTLY
I waited patiently for the Lord, and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay. And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps strong. Psalm 40:1-2

I felt Him lift me out of my depression and sorrow, and plant my feet upon the rock of my salvation. Firm, strong, reliable, never failing. JESUS JESUS NEVER FAILS We only doubt, when we get our eyes on the world God has to be our source, our focus, our hope. He will never fail.

And He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our Lord. Many will see and fear, and will trust in the Lord. Psalm 40:3
The word of God tells us God gives us songs in the night. Have you let your worries subside enough for Him to do this for you? Or have you been so caught up in your despair and doubt, that you could not hear that beautiful song. My precious Child, lift your hands to your Father. Let Him hold you, let Him rescue you from the trials of this world. Find refuge in Him daily, and praise His name. Allow praise to come from your lips, even when times are hard. It is called the sacrifice of praise, and God richly dwells in the praises of those who are of a broken, and contrite spirit. He wants dedicated followers. And to receive all He has, you have to give all you have. It is not that hard. He is just a prayer away! JESUS Give us a song in the night. And strengthen us in the day. Help us to walk with our heads high, and our faith strong, in your ability to change our lives and transform our minds into a refuge and dwelling place of God. We surrender all we are, and seek You while there is time. We need you now Father. WE fully know, that all You Are, Is All We Need! In Jesus Precious Name, Amen
The secret of a happy Christian lies in these verses. Yet, even those of us who have read them many times can miss the beautiful thoughts and essence in these precious verses of hope. I waited patiently. Oh, God loves it when we wait upon Him. What does this mean? Literally it means prayer. Standing in prayer until we feel the answer is on the way. Standing on the promises of God. Tell me, really think about this, how long since you firmly stood on the promises of God, and said I will not waver. I know God has the answer on the way, and I will trust and not be afraid. I will wait patiently for the Lord. The storms may rage around me. But I know God is the master of the storm. He can calm them with a whisper. Jesus leans down to us, and says: Dear Child, your patience is rewarded. I am listening. I have seen your tears. I have heard your cries, and I know the pain in your heart. Release your problems to me. And stand firm. Stand proud. Walk befitting a child of the King of Kings. Do not walk with your head downcast. Do not look at your surroundings. Keep your eyes upon me till all else fades out. Trust. DO NOT BE AFRAID.
