| Welcome to my web page! My name is Gale and I live with my husband Steve, 3 children , Mitch, Kara & Kailee in Thunder Bay, Ontario. I LIVE for gardening and my family has learned to accept that.... " If I'm in the garden....do it yourself!" Gardening season in zone 3 is very short, so I spend every spare minute outdoors during the summer. My gardening addiction began in 1995 after I dug a tiny flowerbed in our FRONT LAWN. The following year, we paid a contractor to install a large lockstone patio. Then, the next year, my dream-come-true pond was constructed. Since then, my mission is to remove as much lawn in our large yard as possible. Let me share with you our........ "LAWN GONE" story....... |

| Unfortunately, the patio and pond only consumed half the front lawn, so the following year the rest of it was removed and a flowerbed complete with a rustic fence and wagon wheel were added. The area under the eaves in front of the house was made into a shadebed. |
