This page shows pictures
of various things
that didn't quite belong on the other pages.........
Spongey admiring the fish. Unfortunately he has caught fish from both the indoor and outdoor pond.
I gave him a couple lessons by sneaking up on him when he's "stalking" the fish by giving him a
gentle poke in the behind to startle him enough to JUMP in the pond, swim like mad to the other side and run like.... well....a SHOCKED & SOAKED CAT!

He needs that reminder
every year..
hehehehe....
This is Kailee who enjoys going into the pond and deadheading for me!
She is a great help in the pond!!!

My unheated GREEN HOUSE built in 2001.
Thanks to Steve for a job well done!
We have a built-in garden bed inside to grow tomatoes and peppers.

An inside view early spring.
The water filled pop bottles help to conserve heat during the night.
I also cover the bed with a Remay blanket as well.
An old plastic mailbox I painted to make it appear "RUSTED".
It was mounted on a log and cemented in a pail also painted rusty.
This is our front door area.
An old wagon wheel saved from the dump by my Dad.
It sits in a shady bed alongside the front of the house as seen in the above photo.
My wicker chair planter
(also saved from the dump)
It sits on the front steps in the shade, so I planted a hosta "Guacamole", lamium, coleus and creeping charlie in it.
The perennials were  planted by the stream this fall.
Patio pots
An old rusty trunk ( an old electrical box) my son, Mitch found in the ditch up our road. We "saved" it and it has become a pansy planter in memory
of my friends grandmother, Peggy.
Pansies were here fav. flowers.
A small rustic birdhouse nestled among the nicotiana by the pond.
The whiskey barrel housed a bog arum/taro this year.
My first attempt with playing with "hypertufa"
I made a small pot, and a large rhubarb leaf.
Will play some more next spring........
