Ransack The weekly ezine for a scrambling of eggheads

RANSACK RESEARCH PROJECTS Volunteers are needed to team up in a couple of Ransack sponsored research projects. Both of these projects involve clipping newspaper articles from your local paper and sending them to a central location. If you would like to participate in the projects detailed below, please email [email protected]. RANSACK requests that you send all newspaper clippings on a monthly basis to Barbara Peterson, 3075 Woodbridge, Roseville, MN 55113. If you would like newspaper clippings from various countries sent to you as well, please so state. Rocket Party: Articles (anything, ranging from a brief paragraph in �news notes� to in-depth articles) are needed on outer space research or exploration from all countries. Each state (in the US) and country�s newspaper coverage of such things is usually domestic - if it�s not happening in that city/country it usually doesn�t get reported. What this project would like do, apart from collecting information about space, is to compare how space exploration and discovery is reported in different states/ countries. Sail On: The exploration of the oceans and the inhabitants of the ocean depths is the topic of this research project.
