Rockin' Shindig III was the best yet. Alot of people thought it was our best concert yet, which is sadly a good thing because it was our last show. Gaining Ground's wonderful lead singer Laura Katona will be moving for 6 months. On behalf of Gaining Ground, I would like to thank all of the fans who made us get up on a stage and perform because we all in our hearts loved to entertain you. Be sure to follow all of the members as they go there seperate ways and we wish Laura the best of luck in her new town.

Gaining Ground is a christian rock group from a small town in Michigan called Tawas City (except for Roger, he's from the adjoining city of East Tawas). Although most of the members of this band were friends beforehand,They came together in 2003 to do a show called "The Rockin' Shindig" at the Tawas United Methodist Church (Coincidentally this is the church they all regularly attend). They play at a local skatepark almost every other saturday called PS150. They are currently recording a CD at a very sluggish pace. |
