| Chapter Seventy Eight There is nothing in the world that is softer and weaker than Water, when it attacks, any strongest foe cannot win against it. So nothing can harm it. The weak wins over the strong, the soft wins over the hard; there is nothing that it does not know, there is nowhere it cannot travel. Therefore the Enlightened says: "To be dirtied by the dust of the country, is the True Lord that reigns over the land. To take on the misfortunes of the country, is the True Lord that reigns over the world." The greatest truth always seems the opposite of what it is. |
