Ah Heng's Daoism Page
Chapter Seventy

My words are the easiest to understand,
and the easiest to act accordingly.
But the world does not know what I mean,
and finds it difficult to practice them.

All words have their ontology,
all deeds have their practitioners.
Since the common people is ignorant,
they do not really understand me.
Only a small handful of people know me,
hence I am highly valued.

The Enlightened always wears a coarse cloak,
but carries a priceless jade underneath.
