Ah Heng's Daoism Page
Chapter Twenty Six

'Heaviness' is derived from 'Lightness'
'Silence Inertia' is derived from 'Hasty Actions'

Hence as the enlightened Gentleman goes on with his life,
he does not forsake his baggage.
Although he has a grand view of the scheme of things,
he prefers to dasein in the silent position of the Cosmos.
But why does the Lord of Myriad Things,
lowers and rests his body unto all things that he rules?

To be too light is to lose the foundation of the rule,
To be too heavy is to lose the virtues of a ruler.

(Heng: Hence the ruler is submerged within the Dao of rule, such divinity in Political Philosophy is not observed anywhere else.)
