| Ah Heng proudly presents... AJ Weiqi Legends (tada!! music please!!) -- a story about Heng's Weiqi exploits in JC Chapter 1: The Fate of Learning Weiqi For a start, there was a Weiqi Society in AJ. Although I was curious about what the Weiqi game was all about, I did not join them as members because the activites of the club took place at the same time as my main ECA, the Chinese Society. ------------- But Weiqi incidentlally caught my curiosity one night when I was staying late at school and saw two seniors playing the game in the forum. Thinking that a game that caught interests of people playing into the night must really be good indeed! So I just joined to watch. Frankly speaking I did not understand the game at all at this point. When finally it came to an end, it was quite late and I was preparing to go home. I packed up and was preparing to leave. Then one of the players, who was later known as 'Ah Ji', spoke to me. He asked me if I was interested in the game. I casually replied 'yes' and would like to learn the game if chance permits. After pondering, he told me that he could teach me during recess time tomorow. And well, I just casually agreed and went home. ---------------- Tomorrow recess time came, and I happened to be there at the forum... But Ah Ji was already waiting for me to join him in his game... |
