In October 2005 I noted a stack of The Word, a free Midwestern homosexual publication at  Indiana University and Purdue University of Indianapolis (IUPUI) along with other free newspapers. Evidently The Word had been given permission for distribution on campus, because I noted another stack, of the following months's issue, in December.
        So I sent Mr. Ted Fleischaker, publisher of The Word, an e-mail about oral sex dangers. He sent the following in return:
       �As we are not . . . believers in what you have to say because it has NO scientific basis & is just more right wing propaganda, please find another tree & go bark up it. In other words, remove us and don�t send anything further. We�ve placed this e-mail in our spam guard list as we have way more important things to spend valuable time on�like gay bashers, HIV/AIDS relief and making money!
