Gary's Woodcarving and Golfballs
I started carving in the fall of 1990 while on a fishing trip to Minnesota with my old friend Tom Brown. Tom had been carving for about two years and wanted me to give it a try. He was right about carving. After giving it a try to get him to quit bothering me I found out it was just as great as he said it would be.

My wife Mildred and I enjoy visiting carving shows across the Midwest and South. We have encountered many great carvers and friends on our travels. We have found that most woodcarvers are truly great people and friends.

Below are some examples of some of my Golfballs or Goofballs as some friends call them.
These are real golf balls with the cover removed and the carving done into the rubber inside.
The santa body is a casting created by my woodcarving friend Joe Wannamaker.
