God's Garden is not really a place where flowers grow. It is a place where people grow. Hopefully in life we will grow in right direction and that direction is toward God. We are all here for the same reason. We are on our way home to God. Sometimes on this trip home we will grow like a flower. Other times we will have to sprout and grow wings like a bird in order to fly there. Either way it will be a rough journey and growing is usually a pretty painful process.
Sunflowers and Roses:
Come live in our garden and know the good life
We bask in the sunlight and survive any strife
Our arms reachup to the heavens, our faces are kissed by the sun
We bloom separate among us but in God we are one
We're all sunflowers and roses of a remarkable height
Growing steadfast and strong in the directions of HIS light.
Wings of Love:
Of all the gifts that loving can bring
The greatest, by far, is the gift of wings
Empowered only with hope and uncertain belief
We embark on a journey that will know no relief
Flying onward and upward through all that we meet
Our wings broken and battered as we lay at God's feet
His voice speaks and enfolds us in a gentle tone,
"Rest quietly now, my child, for you are home"
