!Further reminder!. In conjunction with comic relief week, There will be parties held at the office headquarters in Leicester, Somerset, West-End, Edinburgh, Birmingham and Newcastle branches on Friday 23rd March 2001.
The parties start from 9pm though to 1am. All proceeds raised will go to comic relief as other charities such as Men cap and Shelter. Silly dress is must and there will be an award on offer for the most silliest. Bookings have now closed for group and solo performing acts. Tickets (they cost £5.00 each are still available. Fundraising - Yorkshire only (Future Event)
Managers at Prêt-a-manger department offices in Leeds, Peterborough, Middlesbrough and Bradford will be organizing a 12 mile Marathon across the Yorkshire dales to raise money for Leeds General Hospital Mothers and Baby care unit that faces closure after Leeds City council announced that they will include that in their annual budget cutting. The proposed marathon is expected to take place next week Friday. And it is hoped that though sponsorships of marathon participants, enough money will be raised to save the unit.
