Ok, I don't know how many of you fine it strange, maybe none, but I am a male Fushigi Y�gi fan. The fact is that only about 1 out of 100 true Fushigi Y�gi fans are males. Strange? Well, in Japan, this anime is classified as a "Shouju" anime, which means that it's target audience is girls age 8-15 (if you ask me, that seems young for a series of this calibur, but this is a much more mature nation that us anyway, heheh).

Anyway, my inspiration for this came from an article found on This site. I highly recommend anyone to have a look at this interesting page. He has stated many important facts, that I agree with, and I think that any FY fan should give it a read. What are you waiting for? Go read it!

I decided to bring this matter to attention on my site, because it is an issue that most people never stop to think about. This IS a Shouju anime anyway, right? Hey, I never minded being in the minority, and this is definitely no exception! I encourage all fans of FY to stay strong fans, no matter what gender! Tee-hee ;)
