This holiday was planed to include the "off centre rally" and exclude the Sydney Olympics. However all plans must flex with the changes of circumstance! The plan included meeting Greg in Alice Springs to cross the Tanami together. Then the "Off Centre Rally", Broome's Pearl Festival, then across the Gibb River road, Katherine Gorge, Edith Falls, Litchfield NP, Kakadu NP, the Gulf Road, Lawn Hill NP, Carnarvon NP then home. The plan was to spend two months away.
