The only Paradise for Kitsune
As a patron
within a dream of Furcadia, certain things are expected of you,
specific behaviors are anticipated, as well as general manners.
In AKP, however, not only are Furcadia's Rules held with a iron
fist, but so are her own set of rules. This page will clarify all
rules set down by the Rah and will be enforced by Guardians.
OOC Rules
As a patron within this dream, you are required to follow a set
of rules. They are outlined here and are expected to be followed.
Anyone who's incapable of doing so will be punished and
banned for one week, being staff does not
exclude you from this.
1. For any dispute that has anything to do with the dream, please bring it directly to the Rah as soon as possible. Letting situations escalate beyond the point of correcting causes unneeded stress on all involved. If the problem is unresolved within a reasonable time period, the Rah will take immediate actions to end the dispute and will disregard anything except their own actions (and sanity).
2. Be courteous to all within the dream. No name calling, (i.e.
Twink, asshole, fucker, bitch, etc.) to anyone, esspecially to
staff. This displays ignorance and will not be tolerated.
3. Since the OOC zone has been expanded, NO OOC-NESS IS
ALLOWED WITHIN THE IC AREA. OOC is to be kept on the OOC
area or in whispers, any found otherwise will get a one way
ticket to the Vinca.
4. When asked to cease and desist, please do. Neither the Rah,
nor the staff will tolerate insolence and will rid themselves if
provoked.
5. Provoking a fight with a peaceful resident for no
other purpose than to bully them will not be tolerated.
If any activity is caught by a staff, it will be stopped with an
ejection, otherwise, it is to be reported to staff. This is true
for both IC fights and OOC fights.
6. Both the staff and the Rah despise spamming and capitals when
not required. This is your only warning. Use caps for no reason,
spam, or both, expect to view the Vinca immediately thereafter.
The new version of Furcadia allows bold and italics, as well as
underlined text. If you need to emphasize on something, please
use this method instead of capitals.
7. It is forbidden to just come into the dream and fall idle. We
appreciate your attempts at keeping the dream up, but idlers do
get in the way. Any idler found without a proper IC idle
description will be ejected. This is, again, a continuity. OOC Descriptions are allowed ONLY in the OOC area.
IC Rules
1. 1. All RP within this dream is based on the information here. This information is strictly what I've labled it
as, information. It is not expected that people follow this like a
bible, but it's just to increase one's knowledge on the elements
that are acceptable here at A Kitsune's Paradise. Because of the
specifics listed on this page, there will be no hesitation to reprimand
those that do not make an effort to utilize this information. A
good friend has allowed the information to be used for the
betterment of the dream, and this is what we're trying to do. So, please,
read up on the elements, AKP is to remain in a continuity.
2. Posting
less than three lines while IC will get you ejected on sight. This dream is considered a Guild by the Rah and
all staff and we will not hesitate to enforce this. If you do not
like this posting rule, please be so kind as to hold your tongue
and depart, unless you prefer to get banished. This rule does not
pertain to OOC posts.
3. Since the OOC zone has been expanded, NO OOC-NESS IS

area or in whispers, any found otherwise will get a one way

5. Any who choose to RP within Paradise must have a reasonable
character. No powergamers, nor immortality. This is strictly Kitsune. The only exceptions to this would be the three deemed by the Rah as acceptible Ryu/Rin (dragon). This is not to be hypocritical or anything you might come up with, it is to diversify the roleplay in the dream. There are only four of them and only two show their faces on a regular basis. Your kitsune powers are safe, no worries.

for both IC fights and OOC fights as well as sexual harrassments.
7. Number are... NUMBERS... not words. U, R, OMG, STFU, or any
other form of abbreviated words are not allowed in this dream
either. Ejection will fall to those who choose to post as such.
This dream is considered a Guild by the Rah and its staff and
it's rules will be enforced as such. Some netspeak, however, is
allowed within the OOC area, but the command to eject is
programmed into the dream's DragonSpeak, so don't try to
"get away" with netspeak in the IC area, it just won't
happen. And if such circumnavigation of the DS is spotted, an immediate ban will befall that person for as long as the Rah deems.
8. This is a strict rule and everyone is expected to
abide by it: Nobody and that means NOBODY is allowed
to RP as a character that is or is based on Inari. All kitsune in
this dream will have from one to nine tails. Also, no wings or
snake tails or other odd hybrids. Dominant and Submissive elementals are
acceptible, but no hybrids. What is meant by dom. and sub. elementals is
that your Kitsune character is dominated by one, and only one,
specific element (i.e. Time). Your character is allowed only minimal
control over one other element available within
the dream (i.e. Earth). Conflicting elements such as Fire/Water, or Void/Crelestial are absolutely forbidden. For any capabale of RP-ing such a character (or otherwise reluctant to give up the RP of their specific character within the dream), they must first speak with the Rah before traveling IC. Kits (a character below three tails) are NOT allowed to have more than one element. You will be ejected on sight.

11. BEFORE RPing here, please take the time to
read up on our version of the kitsune lore as it will be helpful.
In the descriptions, please try to at least have the element
and the age of the kitsune (No older than 1,000). There are number tags on your badges
and in your portraits for a reason. Also, use the correct avatar
for the number, though the exceptions are the eight and nine tails.
12. For those with numbers or symbols in their names that cannot
be said ICly, it is required that you have the character's name
somewhere in the description.
13. There is a special code for the Ryu/Rin. This is
what we call a local species. Do not ask the Rah, Co-Rah's, or Staff for this code,
as you will not receive it through them. Keep in mind this is only a temporary patch as the nine-tailed avatars are worked on.
These
are the rules to A Kitsune's Paradise. They are subject to change
and mutilation throughout time and will always be enforced with
vigor. Please follow them and all will be happy.

Application Form
Now that you have read and memorized the ranks and rules of A
Kitsune's Paradise, you probably wouldn't want that information
to go to waste. That's why I have come up with this magnificent staff application form for you to fill out and e-mail to me. Any
that are full of BS are immediately deleted. Thesaurus mangled
sample posts won't merit a deletion but may decrease your chances
of joining, depending on the severity of the crime. If chosen,
the Rah will reply to the e-mail requesting a sort of interview
with the applicant and discuss the dream, as well as get to know
them a bit better. As a final note before you link yourself
there, please include in the subject line of the e-mail "AKP
Staff Applicant". Any subject lines that
differs,the Rah will trash, so it's imperative that the subject
line be thusly named. Anyone who has
received an e-mail of acceptance from the Rah must join the Yahoo
Group (a_kitsunes_paradise), to keep up-to-date on important
happenings with the dream. You are given 24
hours from the time of acceptance to join
or you must reapply.
