The young Gon Freeces was attacked by a enormous

fox-bear and was saved by Kite, a Hunter. Gon hears

from Kite that his father was alive and also a Hunter.

Then he decided to be a Hunter to find find his father.

But when his Aunt Mito hears about this she disagrees

and gave him a test, to find a large fish in a swamp.

When Gon fish it out his Aunt Mito has no other choice

but to let him go.

EPISODE 14: ローソク x policy x companion わ to crack

It starts off with Tompa giving up the fight with one of the fighters. Then the next fight begins with Gon and another fighter. They compete using the candles. Gon wins this match because he outsmarted his enemy. The third match belongs to Kurapika and another fighter. This time they fought using their strengths. Kurapika’s enemy has a spider tattoo on his back that made him really angry and gave him a big punch. The spider is Genei Ryodan’s symbol. Genei Ryodan is the group who wipe the Kuruta tribe, Kurapika’s tribe. He leaves the enemy unconscious as he walked away from the ring.

Episode 55: Ubo X Kurapika X The theme of consciousness

Ubo decided to find the "chain-guy" to get revenge for capturing him. And at Kurapika's, they found out that Daltzorne was been killed and they had no one to lead them on what to do next. So they decided to ask the daugther of their boss, Neon. They ask Neon for her father to call him about their next mission or on what they must do. Mr. Nostrad and the rest of the bodyguard agree that Kurapika should be their leader. And they must protect Neon until he arrives at York New City. Ubo and Shalnark killed a hunter to gat a hunter card to know where Kurapika is.Kurapika checked the net to found that their "hideout" and the other bodyguards are revealed. So he decided to change room but still in the same building cause he knew that someone would attack them. Gon, Killua and Leorio went to this place and found out that it is an underground auction and its condition is to capture the 7 people and they realize that they were the GENEI RYODAN. They join the hunt for its price is 2 billion for each person. They called Kurapika for they know he might help them. But Kurapika won't answer the phone; he waits in a room till Ubo finds him...

EPISODE 56: Fiery red eye X Duel X The price of life

Gon, Killua and Leorio tried to contact Kurapika but they get no answer. Killua then remembers that his father killed one of the members of the Genei Ryodan before. And he said that it was not that easy to fight with them, and he warns Killua to never touch the Ryodan. The 3 of them split up and try to find the Ryodan but get nothing. So they decided to post on the net that they will give a reward to someone who can give a reliable information about the Genei Ryodan. Kurapika asks Ubo if he remembers the Kurata clan whom they killed mercilessly and Ubo said that he doesn't remember. And it made Kurapika furious that they don’t care at all when they kill someone. Ubo then started to attack Kurapika and they throw each other puches and kicks. Ubo maximed his strength cause Kurapika doesn't seem to be scratched with his attacks. He gave Kurapika a big punch in his left arm and thought that his bones was crushed but it is easily healed with his holy chain. At the same time Kurapika catured Ubo with his chain jail. Ubo then started to try to break free of the chain but he is helpless. Kurapika said that he can't do anything cause he can give 100% on any property of nen. Kurapika then asks where are they hiding and what are the other Genei Ryodans ability but Ubo doesn't give any answer and he finish him off with his judgment chain, the chains wrapped Ubo heart and crushed his heart literally. Kurapika then bury his body.Gon, Killua, and Leorio are having problems about the reward that they will give since they are almost broke. Back at Genei Ryodan's hideout Kuroro gives them instruction that they will wait for Ubo to arrive in the morning but if he doesn't make it they will change their plans. Gon have decided to use his Hunter Card in exchange for 15 million jenis.

Episode 61: The conglomeration of Spiders x The final war of Zaoldyeck family

Kurapika and Nostrad found out that Neon escaped, and they went finding her. Neon was with Kuroro without noticing that her life is in danger. Kuroro wants to steal her nen ability, the “Lovely Ghost Writer”. Kuroro put her out with no one noticing it. Then Nostrad went to her daughter and found out that was she is unconscious while Kurapika checked out the internet and found out that all the information in Nostrad family and even the bodyguards are published. While the Genei Ryodan was causing trouble throughout the city the Zaoldyeck family was hired to kill them all. Zeno and Sillva Zaoldyeck find Kuroro in the building and they were starting to have a fight.

Episode 62: Kurapika x The end of Genei Ryodan

The fight between Zeno, Sillva and Kuroro began. After their fight the 10 old men (dead, was being controlled by Illumi) announced that the leader of the Genei Ryodan was been assassinated because of that the auction began. But unbeknownst to everybody that the body was found dead is fake. The Zaoldyeck didn’t finish the fight between them because their boss was already dead and can no longer obey them. So the auction was held without knowing even Kurapika that they were being fooled by the Genei Ryodan. The pieces that were to be auction was being copied by Coltobi, one of the Genei Ryodan that has the ability to copy anything. The things were to be auction was all fake and the original pieces was robbed by them. Kurapika is in distraught knowing that all the Genei Ryodan was dead receive an invitation from Gon so they can all finally meet. Hisoka gives a message to Kurapika saying that all the Genei Ryodan’s bodies found are all fake.
