The Works of Victor Jose Cabazor

Known as Force Vector elsewhere, this artiste insists(?) on being called the 'The Fat-Man' amongst the AEGIS folks.  Only recently had he considered his attempts at anime-style drawing worth displaying and the images here are examples of the various styles developed.  Comments on each image are written by FV (including this intro) and the management will not be held responsible for its content. ^_~

What you see here is the only copies of his works left - for his computer's hard-disk had crashed and wiped out his entire directory of works.

Because of the number of artwork he has submitted, they've been split into groups. Clicking on the thumbnails will either open a larger artwork on another window or bring you to the other group of images.

Clicking on the image will take you to a page solely dedicated to the Fat-Man's rendering of a stillborn adventure using the Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil campaign setting.

Clicking on the image will take you to a page solely dedicated to the Fat-Man's rendering of the various characters of the first and second season of a finished campaign that was run by Marc Reyes.

Dragon Magistrate Fumiho
Initially designed by Mike Ching, Fumiho is a character designed for a proposed Dating Sim adventure set in the world of L5R's Rokugan.

Hotaru and his Cousins
For those who have read the Anime Wacky chapters, here are what Hotaru's cousins look like.  The psuedo-Japanese text are their names.  From left to right: Haruka, Michiru, Emi, Reiko, Hotaru, Chibiko, Asahi, Maki, Hinako, and Setsuna.

Inked on plain bond paper & cleaned up in PhotoShop.
(size: 60.4k)

UPSIDE
This image is a planned splash page for a Play-By-E-Mail game run by Dennis Ching.  Unfortunately, the hard-disk wipeout prevented it from ever being completed.

Inked work scanned and colored in PhotoShop.
(size: 73.7k)

Anastasya Petrochka
Animecha's a homebrew system inspired by the Super Robot Wars console game series.  This is a study of what my character looks like.  Anastasya is an android that was designed for espionage purposes.

Animator's blue pencils on plain bond paper.
(size: 57.8k)

Petrochka V
This is a rough sketch of the Super Robot that Anastasya pilots.  Her name and the name of the robot is intentional since it's supposed to be based on those wooden Russian dolls within a doll.  Anastasya could use either a Power Suit (Petrochka II); a Power Armor (Petrochka III); a Mobile Suit (Petrochka IV); or a Super Robot (Petrochka V).  Each smaller "armor" could fit into the larger one.

Any' ol pencil on computer printer form-feed sheet.

Cuff Lynx and Elise
This is a design of an Animecha character and his vehicle, played by Patrick Ocampo.

Pencil sketch on plain bond paper.

Sulochil
Originally a character design for someone I knew in a place I worked in previously.  A falling out between us meant I got to keep her.  She's related to the harp-bow wielding elf in the Key of Resonance poster below.

Inked work scanned and colored in PhotoShop.
(size: 82.4k)

Key of Resonance: Warbabes
This piece, the proposed front cover of a planned manga was also used in the Gamers Eyeball: Manila main poster.

Because the target output is print, the image's actual dimensions are a whopping 4500x3000 pixels at 300dpi.
(size: 169k)

Devlin Cord
Based on a quick sketch, this was close to my vision of how to present one of the many characters that the AEGIS folks have played in Castle Falkenstein.  Devlin Cord is played by Dennis Ching.

Shaded in PhotoShop, watercolor effect was done using a supplied filter.
(size: 45k)

Friedrich Porsche
In our Castle Falkenstein milieu, this dragon-inventor, as an infant, was adopted into the human family that would eventually make the famous 911 sports car.  Porsche is played by Tommy Lim.

Shaded in PhotoShop and applied the Watercolor filter afterwards.
(size: 48.6k)

Aslan El-Kaffir
Known as the "Aromatic Unbeliever", check out the anecdotes to find out why he's branded with such a colorful appellation.  Mir Aslan is played by Dariel Quiogue.

No change in technique from the other two cameos shown above.
(size 45.1k)

Ellis
One of my D&D characters when the Band of Rorax was still actively gaming, Ellis was 'borrowed' from the PlayStation game Battle Arena Toshinden and played as an Uber-Ditz!

Done in color pencils and gelpen ink, only the background and effects were done in PhotoShop.
(size: 107k)

NEGQ (Neo-Evangelion Genesis Quest)
What happens when you bring the cast of the anime Evangelion into a medieval fantasy setting?  Here's one possibility (with appropriate costume redesign!).

Scanned inked artwork colored in PhotoShop.  This image is a mere 25% of the actual size.
(size: 155k)

L5R the PBEM
Featuring 15 of the characters found in AEGIS' Play-By-E-Mail Legend of the Five Rings adventure, the 16th character (the man below the red-headed giant and above the surprised white-haired lady) is a representation of the game's moderator.

Lineart, text & backgrounds were done by me, character's coloring were done by Tommy Lim.  Both artists used PhotoShop.
(size: 80.8k)
