The Works of Victor Jose Cabazor

This take of the Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil was unique in the sense that all the characters were randomly generated using various tables to determine race, gender, class, etc.  The first foray into the game saw the death of the entire party - save one!  On the second foray, 18 players had drawn up random characters and the Fat-man was the one planning to run the adventure.

Also, at the time, most of the players were hooked to the Massively Multiplyer Online Game known as Ragnarok Online - hence, the Fat-man decided to not only draw them in that semi-SD style, but emphasize the "R" and "O" of the campaign name.  Being a stickler to detail, all the equipment and armor depicted on each character is based off the equips that the players had actually purchased for the campaign, and since not everyone had finished equipping themselves, he only drew those that were done.

Unfortunately, the Fat-man decided to get back into the "Rat Race" at around that time and the campaign never got off the ground.

Magara "Marbel" Beltingdrop
Female Rock Gnome Bard played by Darwin "Shosuro".  In keeping with the "not-so-serious" nature of this campaign, we decided to give her a "Zynthesizer" as her primary musical instrument - which was made by a musically-inclined Gnome tinkerer named KORRG. >_<

Garvielle Ombra
Female Human Rogue played by Patricia Kate Lazaro.  Pan-chan designed what her Human character looked like and sent me a sketch of it - I just re-interpreted what she had done to make it less "modern". ^_~

Üdang the Basher
Male Human Cleric controlled by Angelo Bautista - who happened to be the GM of the first foray of RtttOee.  A brawler that worships the Deity KORD, he is based off the WWF wrestler Randy "Macho Man" Savage - and Gelo planned to speak the same way that wrestling superstar spoke. O_o

Haznouname
Female Dwarven Barbarian controlled by Ian Comandante.  Since he never gave me a name, I bestowed the honorary name on her... following the traditions of the great Iznou Clan... or rather, their female cousins, the Haznou Clan.  It was a then running in-joke when Gelo played two Dwarves with similar names back to back in different campaigns. @_@

Kirara Morningsun
Female Half-Elven Wizard controlled by Timothy Dy Ning.  Another character whom Pan-chan made a rough sketch of and I then "adjusted" it - although cute-looking, she appears to be preggy. -_-

Dorinumble of ULEK
Male Rock Gnome Paladin played by Nicole Therese Guerzon.  He protects people in the name of Heironeous, God of Valor.  Nic chose very simple and practical equips that made it hard to make visually interesting - either that or my "creativity" was on a low when I drew this character. >_<

Dessa Stoutheart
Female Lightfoot Halfling Cleric controlled by Mark "Jyli" Paulino that follows the Deity Saint Cuthbert.  Because she had really horrible DEXTERITY stats, Jyli decided to buy her the best armor the allocated money could buy. ^_^

Ungkalah the Heartless
Female Half-Orc Cleric controlled by Mark "Zulu" Ramos.  The only Half-Orc that I got to draw, I had to find a way to make her look fierce and yet feminine at the same time.  By some strange coincidence, both of the Marks in the campaign followed the Deity Saint Cuthbert. O_o

Male Forest Gnome Druid controlled by Antonio Guerzon.  He follows the teachings of the Deity Obad-Hoa, and his shield is proof of his faith.  It took me a long time to come up with a design for this character. *_*

Wood Honeysuckle of CELENE
Female Wood Elf Druid played by Lia Mijares - she thought up of the full name of her character and could utter it with a straight face.  Worshipping the Deity Ehlonna, she is the only one from the first party (referred to as Random Encounter) that survived, although her animal companions went *POOF* as well - by the time the second party would've encountered her, she'd be "slightly" mad. O_o

Wynona of NONIZ
Female Rock Gnome Rogue controlled by Mac Mijares.  "Inspired" by a certain well-known Hollywood Actress that was caught shoplifting, Wynona follows the way of the Deity Garl Glittergold (well Duh!).  Mac was very specific about the way she looked and I did my darndest to match his vision.  Has the dubious honor of being the last of Random Encounter to be killed. @_@

Female Tallfellow Halfling Monk controlled by August Cabazor.  As chaotic in movement as that of a Butterfly in search of nectar - second to the last of Random Encounter to be terminated. >_<

Iznoubeter of the Yin Yan Yong School of Martial Arts
Male Hill Dwarf Monk controlled by Gelo Bautista.  Follower of the Deity Moradin, and "brother" of Iznougud - following a great tradition of spectacular deaths by the Iznou clan, he is the first to perish amongst Random Encounter. @_@

DUH the Greatsword Salesman
Male Half-Elven Fighter controlled by Jeff Minoza, who followed the Deity Corellion.  A travelling sword salesman, he somehow ended up being the leader of this doomed party - it was easy to imagine him having a "what the heck am I doing here" expression on his face... O_o

DuDe! of the House of Flowing Water
Male Valley Elven Monk controlled by Victor Cabazor.  When I rolled the sub-race of "Valley Elf", it was like, WHOA DUDE, I just had to play him as a laid-back Californian Beach Bum seeking and the perfect wave - riding such a Tsunami is the ultimate goal of the House of Flowing Water and the only way to reach "enlightenment" with his Deity Sashelas... isn't that like RADICAL, DUDE! ^_~
